2008 Local Food Festival

The first annual Victoria Local Food Fest is on now. The project encompasses many smaller projects into a large, visible, and very fun festival!

[edit] Final Celebration Dinner and Dance

The final celebration dinner and dance is approaching fast! The evening will feature a full dinner of delicious local fare. To accompany the dinner, we will have a talk by Dan Jason, author, seed saver and subject of the recent documentary 'Gardens of Destiny'. Dan Jason is an outspoken advocate of organic agriculture and opponent of genetically modified organisms and patents on living organisms. The dinner is also the judging of the photo and poetry contest as well as the general prize draws!

Doors are at 6PM. Location is the First Metropolitan Church (932 Balmoral Road)

For all on-line ticket purchases, tickets will be held at the door for the purchaser.

If you are a Locavore with 3 or more event stamps in your passport, you are eligible for a $5 ticket (Quantities can be specified after clicking Add to Cart). Please be sure to bring your passport to the final dinner.
