[edit] Personal goBEYOND Challenge
- The personal challenge is meant to meet people where they are in their road to becoming environmentally conscious. The changes are designed to meet you where you are, and help you continually build momentum to take the Next Step.
- in signing up, you will start recieving our Weekly Email. The weekly email is our e-newsletter, it holds upcoming events in your community, and shares what other groups are doing.
- The personal challenge consists of making small, medium and large changes. These changes tend to be focused in food, transportation or home.
- By signing up to take the challenge, you will find support, resources, tools and skills to help solidify long-term change
- You can find a carbon calculator at go-beyond.ca to help chart your changes and highlight areas in need of renovation
[edit] House Challenge
- Our House Challenge, is the next step after the Personal Challenge. You can sign your household up to compete with other homes in making and implementing changes.
- Email your stories to commonenergy@gmail.com and share your stories. You can than view what other households, and compare projects!
[edit] Campus Challenge
- The Campus Challenge is our newest project. We are moving proivincially and challenging all goBEYOND participating campuses to make changes!
- The challenge is two-fold, campuses will compete to see who can have the most people based on precentage of population and than have the best average reduction.
- You will be able to find How To Lectures, Events, and Community Building Projects to support the growth of your campus.
- How To Lectures, will range from how to build a compost to how to be green in an apartment building
- Events have a large range, and can differ from campus to campus. These will most likely be found in your weekly email
- Lastly, Community Building Projects are designed to help transfer from the campus to the community your school is part of
