- calendars are done!!
- SPUD is selling 50 of them for us
- posters advertising calendars to be posted around campus
- profits go to a farming apprentice in financial need
- will try to sell at Moss St winter market, food Roots sustainable Feast, pocket markets, etc.
- if we sell out, we could do a second printing
- we could send out emails to get it out to departments
[edit] Disposables
- alot of places on campus have reusables, but not known to everyone
- Dave made up a little sign advertising his and sent to Heather Seymour
- Heather Seymour agreed to put it up
- Joe might have another meeting about local food specials with Heather Seymour
- another issue: wastage and breakage of non-disposables on campus; res caf looses 1000's a year; could be good to talk to the res environmental responsibility around this
- Dave: thinking about having a 'non-disposables day'; collect garbage from University Centre
- also having a poster campaign
- Tessa talked to Colleen in the Bookstore and is willing to collaborate with us, just needs to know more details from us
- timeline: immediately, posters; non-disposables day closer to february

- Karin had a meeting with CG
- one idea: having a workshop out on the University Commons Corner on tree pruning
- deadline for $25 000 grant fast approaching; money is for one faculty member and 3 students
- still meeting with faculty members who showed interest in working on the lands
