This is the Food Working Group page. The Food Working Group is creating one of the core elements of the UVic Beyond Climate-Neutral Plan. For more information see the Food Knowledge Base or the Food Focus Area page.

The Food Working Group is part of the University of Victoria Food Collaborative (UVFC) which includes members of the University of Victoria Sustainability Project (UVSP) and the Campus Community Garden. The UVFC meets to work together on food-related projects on campus and in the community. We use the wiki to schedule our meetings and organize on-going projects. All meetings are open to any member of our community. If you have an interest in food-issues, please come to a meeting or email us to get involved.

Mid-winter produce at the UVSP/Food Roots Pocket Market in the SUB. Runs Tuesday and Thursday

How can the University develop the local and sustainable food supply in the region?
