Guide: Comprehensive Projects Introduction

The comprehensive projects were developed to create core institutional drivers for UVic’s strengths in research, education, operations, and people to move the university beyond climate-neutral. Each comprehensive project spans all of the focus areas, from transportation and buildings to food and energy. The Revolving Green Fund finances operational changes, the Teaching and Learning strategies leverage UVic’s research and education capacity, while the University Challenge harnesses the energy and creativity of UVic’s people.

The strategies in these comprehensive projects are part of an interwoven whole with the strategies in the focus areas. For that reason, as you read them you may come across terms and concepts that have not yet been introduced. In those cases, there will be a connections made that will provide the relevant information.
