From Common Energy UVic

Jump to: navigation, search

The Knowledge Base Style Guide is a style guide for the Common Energy wiki. Please adhere to this guide whenever editing or creating page content. When starting a page, simply copy the preformatted skeleton, as it appears on this page, into the new page and start filling it in.

[edit] Discussion

The Knowledge Base is designed to be a place for people to intuitively find the information that they need in a form that is easy for them to process. To keep the creation of a page simple and to make it easy for the reader the Knowledge Base will have a standard style for pages.

The sections outlined below are designed to be specific enough to spark appropriate research and writing, but relaxed enough to allow the guideline to accommodate a variety of different topics, from problem analyses to descriptions of technology. Please follow appropriate style guides for specific sections and use subheadings as appropriate. Also - be sure to cite your sources.
