Planning Partnership
From Common Energy UVic
The Planning Partnership provided the research and analysis for the Common Ground process that developed the Guide to Move UVic Beyond Climate-Neutral. The Working Groups, Integrative Projects, and Editors collectively form the Planning Partnership.
[edit] The Partnership
The Planning Partnership was a network of students, staff, faculty and regional partners working to draft a beyond climate-neutral plan. The Planning Partnership was launched at Finding Common Ground conference on February 5th, 2007. Discussion centered around the Focus Areas as people collaboratively developed a series of ideas they wanted to explore. Those people formed Working Groups to explore the ideas they came up with at the conference to answer the questions in the Focus Areas. The Working Groups are hubs in the Planning Partnership's network.
[edit] Working Groups
Each Working Group had Writers, Communicators, and Coordinators to distribute the work and to tie each Working Group back to the Teams that are developing the overall project of moving UVic beyond climate-neutral. Integrative Projects were created for new initiatives, such as the Revolving Green Fund, that span the Focus Areas.
[edit] Editors
The Editors synthesized and integrated the reports that they received from the Working Groups and Integrative Projects and the information they receive from the Going Beyond Climate-Neutral Conference into the Guide.
