Heather mentioned we should document what we used for CE and what was, and what was not effective.

What did we do and what was effective Very effective to have different events that appeal to different people (ie movie nights vs meetings), and for people who have varying levels of understanding of climate change. The drop-in sessions relieve the pressure of having to explain everything at the table, and potentially overwhelming people.

What was not effective: not being on the laptop. Need to have more emphasis on having a diversity of current members tabling, not just have sign ups on the wiki. It is a good way to stay well connected, and it a good way to practice communicating in a short time the general mandate of the organization. The quiz could be shorter, as people have less time, and we want to promote constant movement so we are exposed to more people.

ACTION: Mark to send email to working group, integrate project and planning project leads regarding new listserv signups.

Heather provided an update about the drop in sessions.

ACTION: Caitlin to lend Heather her laptop for the drop in sessions.

ACTION: Caitlin to contact Jan House to use the University A/V system as a backup.
ACTION: Mark to send Caitlin confirmation booking times.
ACTION: Caitlin to take care of popcorn.
ACTION: Heather to rent two copies of the movie.
ACTION: Mark to send email to UVSP Power about the movie night.
ACTION: Heather and Caitlin to speak to their ES class.
ACTION: Ed to do classroom speaking
ACTION: Mark to bring cashbox.
ACTION: Mark to bring listserv sign up.
ACTION: Heather and Caitlin are in charge of setup. Bring: Common Energy banner, cash box, listserv sign up, small signage for outside and inside of the building, conference information.
