Agenda:
1) Planning for Common Ground III - we have a good question, what else do we need for the two hour open space session?
Question: How do we turn the progress reports into a BCN plan?
Naomi: We need to stay focused on the question.
Jamie: we may have a small group of people, so how do we manage expectations?
Mark: how do we ensure the the decisions made, specifically around governance, are accepted by those not in attendance.
Naomi: We need to ensure that people who cannot attend have a way contribute to the discussions.
Mark: Suggested creating the agenda now.
Agenda for April 29th, 2007
2pm: Run through agenda; introduction to Common Ground, timeline for the summer.
215pm: Common Ground focused on "how do we turn the progress reports into a BCN plan?"
2) Their are Working Groups whose progress reports do not clearly indicate a strategy for going beyond climate-neutral. How do we communicate with the group and get their thoughts before the report goes out? Perhaps we should focus on smaller questions?
Smaller Questions - Ideas
How do we engage experts, researchers and planners to help us develop the plan?
How do we best identify actions and cross-over actions and proposals in the WGs?
How do we further investigate proposals? What form to the WG's take post PR to develop/ complete BNC
How do the working groups plan for the workshop series in July? rational: one thing we have to accomplish he WG's plan for the workshops/public lectures in July?
How do we identify questions to be answered through curriculum on a one time or muli time bases.
Action: Naomi to write email Action: Jamie to update Common Ground III, and include the summer time line in the developing partnerships wiki page
