Heather to provide backgrounder. She is inquiring to where the university challenge, the climate trust, and the curriculum integration fit into the structure of Common Energy. She emphasized the importance of pulling it out of the working groups because 1) they include financial mechanisms, and may breed competition or resentment between working groups, and 2) priority amongst projects. Heather drew a diagram of the current structure of Common Energy, and a diagram of what she sees as the structure that underlies this that includes projects, and the general projects such as CECT(diagram to follow). Heather asked where they can go on the wiki.

Brandy suggested putting them on the projects page.

Jamie explained that they could be somewhere prominent, for example the right hand side of the tool bar on the front part of the Common Energy page.

Jamie - they do not fit within the teams, so we need to seperate it out. So how do we integrate it into the projects.

ACTION - Jamie to create planning projects meeting page section for Climate Trust, UC, and Ciriculum. Jamie to re-jig the headings of the meetings page and a link on the UVic front page tool-bar.

Brandy - Adding another section for planning project meetings.

Heather - Wants to get rid of the informality, namely to create a home for them.

Mark - we should formalize it for these three, but not for the working group planning projects.

Heather - Heather and Jill will be going to the working groups to explain the climate trust and the university challenge. the climate trust will not be the source of all the funding for Common Energy.

Heather - we need to figure out the structure of the roles (writer, communicator, coordinator) for these three groups.

Brandy - It is excellent that Jill and Heather will be informing the working groups, as it will help keep everyone in the loop. It would be great too if you could use the language of the planning project tool.

Jamie - need to figure out how the funding fits with the general funding structure of CE.

Heather - What should the name of these three projects be?

Jamie - the similarities between the three are that they all identify a different slice of the BCN goal; UC, a way to engage people and get the low-hanging fruit; CT is a way to get to climate neutral; curriculum; this is a way for the working groups to have aspects from their section of the plan realized.

After brainstorming, we could not find a perfect name. Jamie calls for consensus, and we will use "Integrative Projects" as a placeholder name.
