[edit] Bylaws

The bylaws of a society are the rules used to govern the actions of a society. They must be harmonized (in line with the Society's Act of BC), and are essentially customizable by the members of the society.

Examples:

BC Sustainable Energy Association: http://www.bcsea.org/about/bylaws.asp

Initial notes:

Two sessions:

  • Governing the society

Things to consider:

  • Must correspond with the Society Act of BC
  • We’ve adopted “Schedule B”
  • How you become a member
  • Size of BOD & How we choose the BOD
