UVic Greenhouse Gas Assessment and Analysis

The Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability is currently undertaking a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Assessment and Analysis Project for the Gordon Head Campus.

This project will include the quantification of campus emissions from activities such as energy use, transportation, food and material resources.

Using on-campus expertise, the aim is to develop a comprehensive inventory and model that will assist the University in exploring ways to reduce emissions and keep track of progress. In addition, this project will help frame a future campus sustainability policy and management system.
