Working Groups
From Common Energy UVic
The Working Groups provide the small group research and analysis for each Focus Area in the Common Ground process that is creating the Going Beyond Climate-Neutral Plan for UVic.
The Working Groups have a Writer, Communicator, and Coordinator. The Writer is responsible for translating the group's work into a unified document, with the help of the Editors. The Communicator is responsible for facilitating the group's communication, networking, and possibly awareness raising or civic engagement initiatives. The Coordinator is responsible for the group's logistics: meeting times and spaces, materials, creating the agenda.
One of the primary jobs of the Research team is to support these Working Groups to aid them in the creation of the Going Beyond Climate-Neutral Plan.
If you are interested in becoming involved with the Working Groups go to the Connect page to find out how.
[edit] Planning Projects
Each Working Group created a section of the progress report with draft actions for Common Energy and proposals for UVic's administration can do. With the completion of the progress report we are turning sections of the progress report into the key elements of the plan. We have created Planning Projects to develop the elements of a strategic plan. The Going Beyond Climate-Neutral Conference will bring in a broad network of regional partners and the university community to develop the ideas in the Planning Projects into a comprehensive and resilient plan.
The Working Groups are: (note these are working pages meant to facilitate collaboration)
